The Nuna Leaf seat swings gently from side to side with no noise (no motor). One gentle push gives 2 minutes of smooth motion. The base is very sturdy and seat can hold up to 130 pounds. Seat can be locked in place for no motion. Seat pad and cover are removable and washable. The seat was only used a few times per week for 6 months and has been in storage for 5 years.
